Setting up a live broadcast presentation:

1. On the Welcome to Windows Media Encoder screen, click Broadcast, capture or convert a file using the New Session Wizard  and click OK.

2. On the Session Selection page, click Broadcast a live event from attached devices or computer screen and click NEXT.

3. If your presentation will include streaming video, click the Video option on the Device Options page and pick your video capture card from the adjacent list.

4. Then, click the Audio option and pick your sound card from the adjacent list and click Next.

5. In the HTTP Port box on the Broadcast Connection page, enter the port number assigned to you by Stream.Joinweb and click Next.

8. If you are capturing a video, the Video Option screen will appear. Click No, I want to broadcast from my selected devices only and click Next.

9. On the Display Information page, add any details you want about the presentation and click Next. These details will be displayed to users who view your presentation.

10. Verify all the information you have specified  and click Finish.

11. Open your Windows Media Encoder and click Start.

Note:
If your presentation is inaudible, click Mixer...on the bottom left-hand side of the Windows Media Encoder monitor. In the Recording Control dialog box, verify that the correct input is selected. For example, if you are talking through a microphone, make sure Mic is selected.
